The ISO’s Public Protection Classification (PPC) score ranges from 1 to 10, with 1 being the best rating the fire department can receive. The Denver Fire Department has an ISO rating of 1.
CPSE Information
The Center for Public Safety Excellence (CPSE) accreditation program is a voluntary comprehensive assessment and evaluation model for fire and emergency service organizations. The accreditation process helps to determine community risks and fire safety needs, evaluate the performance of an agency, and provides a method for continuous improvement.
